Do you make motorcycle ignition systems? If so, what would I need for a 3 cylinder? 1978 Yamaha XS750.

Thanks Charlie, Great info. learned more in 5 minutes than most of the vids out there. Simple, easy and understandable. That's getting rare these days. I need new plugs cause, long story short, I finally got to see the light show my plug wires were putting out when I opened my hood tonight and to a good look at the various shorts in the wires grounding out in at least three places from the bad wire routing job the guys did that replaced my intake gasket on my 99 Yukon. Had a misfire I thought was a spider injector issue but now thinking just a new set of wires would fix. There are some points you didn't mention like wire diameter and brands. I think a 7mm wire is a minimum and an 8mm is better but the prices jump pretty quick. There are cheap wire sets, like 30.00 or OEM sets starting at 40.00 at the local supply stores. Any recommendations for someone looking for a descent set without going crazy, .like 100.00+ $? Thanks.

Yeah the higher the mm,=better performance and the costier the wires are. 2. should've touched on the importance of using higher mm plug wires, as in when you start using any plug wires above 8mm. in diameter, you need to also upgrade things like your distributer cap, also the ignition core on older cars like early 90's on downward and the type of spark plugs that one may mate with these high powered wires, it makes a difference as this higher spark was not really intended for use on OEM systems, i know as i once had a 1991.5 Honda Accord EX and ran the car on Bosch plat.+4 (all around extremely high power spark plugs) and i installed some Beldon 9mm hp wires, car ran like a Porsche, for about 6 months then all of a sudden one day in the summer of 1999 car just would'nt start, took it to a Honda dealership and they said that the distrubutor had burned to a crisp and they stripped everything i had done to it (took away Beldon wires and uninstalled my Bosch Plat.+4's and put back in OEM 7mm suppression wires and NGK-R5's i was thinking to myself dam atleast they could've put the NGK-R6's back in it, car ran decent but was'nt as quick like before with the hp stuff in it, i was pissed afterward when i had asked about the Beldon wires and the Bosch plat.+4's they acclaimed they threw them in the garbage.

Spray some WD40 or a silicone spray on the parts then assemble.
