This life is truly a vanity. Who would have thought that Herbert Wigwe, the then CEO of Access bank, who was responsible for this polo cup will no longer be with us today. May Herbert, Chizoba, and their son's soul find eternal peace.

It isn’t. On the contrary it depicts our lives can be of SUBSTANCE, in this case affecting literally thousands of other lives (jobs, livelihoods, support, charity, etc.) well beyond our brief time here on earth. RIP to all of the deceased 🕯️

Why do you guys always presume vanity when you yourselves always pray for prosperity at all times. But when someone is prosperous and enjoying themselves it’s considered vanity in your world.

@user-un6gd6oh4b Huny, I don't know what you are!!! I don't care! It doesn't affect my well-being as an IGBI WOMAN in any way. But I am telling you that Nwaike [ Wike], Nwaoko [ Woko], Nwaigwe [ Wigwe], etc. are all TRADITIONAL Igbo names!!! How people choose to pronounce it is dependent on their Igbo dialet. People from. ABIA STATE, for example, Ngwa and some parts of Umuahia use it without the "N." Now, run along and identify and be proud of who really are!!!

Wasting money in the UK in the name of promoting their brand. Standard Bank of South Africa is bigger than all the banks combined in Nigeria. The bank is really doing real retail banking. Their CEO is still paying bonds on his house and cars. No round tripling and money laundering for corrupt politicians as bankb CEO behave in Nigeria.

@@khwesiprojectsmarketing1914 they’re raising money for education in the deprived North which has the world’s highest number/percentage of out-of-school kids, heightened by insurgency and rampant insecurity. Admittedly, they are simultaneously promoting the Access brand but there’s nothing amiss with doing well while doing good. Meanwhile, unsure why you feel compelled to compare 35-year-old Access Bank (22 years under Aig/Wigwe) with 161-year-old Standard Bank, which was merely the SA subsidiary of UK’s Standard Bank (now Standard Chartered Bank) until the Apartheid divestment era. JP Morgan is bigger than all SA banks (including Standard) combined. That doesn’t diminish the latter.

@@khwesiprojectsmarketing1914 not sure why you’re comparing 161-year-old Standard Bank (which was actually the SA subsidiary of UK’s Standard Chartered until the Apartheid divestment era) with 35-year-old Access Bank (22 years under the AIG/Wigwe). Nonetheless, your logic is akin to deriding Standard Bank because JP Morgan is bigger than all SA banks combined. Meanwhile, they are NOT “wasting money in the UK” but rather raising much-needed funds for education in Northern Nigeria (since you go where the funds are) which has the highest number (and likely percentage) of out-of-school kids globally, exacerbated by long-running insurgency and insecurity, while at the same raising their brand - a case of doing good while doing well.
