Love seeing all of these high quality Wisconsin rifle components!

More emphasis on the butt stock, it must support a muscularly relaxed Stockweld to anchor consistent sight alignment and control parallax. If this is not addressed . 5 MOA goes up to 4 MOA due to angular error and inconsistent recoil resistance. One more thing, go with a 20 inch barrel if accuracy at distance is paramount. You will get a higher MOA wind constant, like 9 at 600 yards, which means more precise hits when wind cannot be exactingly appraised.

The Geissele Triggers have a fast locking time, meaning a shooter can still get a good hit when follow through is suspect. I went with the GA Trigger and my standing scores in US Service Rifle Competition rose from 92% average to 96% average, which helped me earn US Distinguished Rifleman Badge.

Billet receivers don’t have any “strength” advantage. Forging is stronger than milling.

If they have added material yes. They do

@@modernrambo2 Yes if I make something 2” thick out of billet, it will be stronger than 1/8” forging. Thanks for that genius insight captain obvious. All things being equal though, forging is stronger than milled billet, period. There is no arguing against that simple fact.

I wish that Criterion (CBI) would do a follow-up (LR308/DPMS) large frame MSR video.

It's on our short list for future video projects Casey. Right now it's just a matter of getting the time to put together some additional video content. We're in the process of bringing on a video consultant to help streamline the editing process.

I'd like to know more about this bag rest attachment and how you generally shoot your groups. What bag and position are you shooting? Would love a short video on that.

Sure Brandon! The front rest is a Sinclair Competition Shooting Rest with an installed Edgewood front bag. I also picked up a trio of wider base points so the rest assembly doesn't sink into the dirt under recoil. The rear bag is also from Sinclair. Typically I shoot in the prone, but some folks may have better luck shooting off a bench.

Is Loctite pointless on a 13.9 criterion barrel? Since it’s not exactly long range? Seen criterion worker use Loctite red 680 on the barrel instead of shims

I bought a Criterion barrel a while ago and didn't elect to have a headspaced bolt included. When purchasing a new BCG in future, how can I ensure it'll have excellent performance with my barrel?
@CriterionbarrelsInc

You can check head-space now and would require head-space gauges to take the measurement. You can also send in your barrel or complete upper to Criterion and we can pair it with a properly sized bolt.

I don’t understand why people listen to you you explain that a billet upper or lower gives added strength over forged uppers and lowers which is not true at all and you didn’t recommend a set screw pin the gas block
