Not a bad light and easy on the wallet. Might have to look into those. Thank you brother and be safe out there.

Mine just arrived. It did not come with a lanyard. I carry more than one flashlight every day, and this will replace the i5R in my pocket due to having better modes, the memory, and taking a standard battery. It will not replace the Lumintop Tool AA or Sofirn SP10 Pro because both of those have diffusers and can tail-stand, turning them into small area lights. The thronerooms at work do not have emergency lights, and I think an area light is potentially too useful not to want it. I like that the switch is mechanical, and won't have any parasitic drain.

absolutely. check the back of the plastic in the box to see if the lanyard is there. mine was there. I agree about the tail standing and the diffuser!

@@TheFossilChannel No lanyard. I'm pretty sure I have some extra ones, and don't really need it for EDC.

bummer. i keep a spool of 95lb single core paracord for making lanyards on my lights sometimes.

Another good one, you've got good taste lol. I have this one as well... in green, of course! Agree completely--it's a great light and a solid value at ~$16. I bought a Ryder much more before this came out, but returned it. Still, for me the Pokelit is usually sitting in a bag as a backup light to my E2A or M150 in my pocket in case it dies or I forget them at home. Tail standing and direct-to-moonlight access are top priorities for me, aside from the shared LED and hat-capable clip features, in a daily.

Excellent points! I love my E2A. i find it hard to part with the SST20 4000k Emitter in it. The Acebeam pokelit is a great introduction light I feel for future Flasholics lol. I love my M150 V3 with the 519 nichia emitter. The recharging system on that is great! Have you tried any of the Hank lights yet?

@@TheFossilChannel Man not yet, but I will! TBH I was a Hank skeptic till I saw my buddy's D4K in person recently. The dual channel flood/spot config is way cool. Really what's held me back from an order is battery compatibility... no on-board charging nor BT/protected cells is a deal-breaker for a "serious" tool for me. If I could toss a Fenix/Nitecore USB-C ported battery in it,it'd be perfect! I just can't be bothered to mess with a dedicated charger anymore. I really hope if (when ;D) he makes a right-angle light we get some flexibility... it'd be a perfect MTB headlight! After seeing what dual-channel can do, I've been waiting for the Fenix HM65R to go on sale so I can change my night MTB helmet setup. My HM60R is awesome, but is either/or only. I swear by high CRI LEDs for trail nav (esp. this time of year w/hazards hidden in the leaves), but that simultaneous spotlight is too important to safety.

100 percent with you on those points. hank makes a d4v2 headlamp version. i believe some of the firmware may have low voltage protection.. not sure though. the new d4k models use 21700 batteries. i am a proponent of less lumens and better cri. when we do search and rescue i need to see colours at night.

i forgot to mention but i have a osram w1 and nichia 4000k combo kr4. the review is a few months old but should give you an idea of the dual channel poetential. imo its a game changer because i have the thrower leds from the osram and the high cri floody for the close and warmer tint. best of all world for me.
