Acebeam X50 2.0 is much better then the Imalent ms12 mini. MS12 mini measured around 20 000 lumens at 1 minute. At 30 second mark it is around 40 000 lumens output for the mini dropping from just over 60 000 lumens at switch on. WELL DONE ACEBEAM.

Had it in my hands for a couple of minutes, I will be making the review in the future. At turn on it is beating Acebeam in terms of sheer output and throw, however, as you mentioned, it drops the output quite fast, despite having 3 cooling fans which make A LOT of noise. Ah, and I measured a little over 58k lm at start ;)

Excellent review FE. This one is going on the wish list. This might be the ultimate caving or night marching light with those run times. With six batteries I could lose my mind! I hope you can get your hands on a Thrunite TN50, it comes with 4 21700 cell battery pack and 16000 lumens. Looking forward to seeing your next video FE.

Awesome video mate! I am curious about the cooling system, is there any fans? If yes, how loud is it?
@FlashlightEnthusiast

Hi mate, X50 does not have any fans, it is an older model relying more on thicker walls and shelf. If you are looking for a fan cooled model make sure to check out X75. Fans there are quite quiet compared to competition, you can still hear them though. I made a long review on Acebeam X75, there is also a section about cooling fan there. Cheers

I think it would be a really cool test to have someone stand like across the field or lake or wherever you could shoot a beam at someone with an un-interrupted line of sight. Have them like at 1 mile away, 1\2 mile & maybe 1.5 then 2.0 etc. etc.........so my point is varied increments. So one could really see what the beam is like on the receiving end. Make sense, understand ??? A valuable test yes/no ???

I think Matt Smith has recently made a X75 review with this concept of beam shots on a uphill field. I have to admit that it looks amazing as a complementary element of beam shots. I might also include it in the future. Thanks for the comment 👍

Wait for the X75, 80.000 lm monster coming soon. Similar price, yet it seem to address some key drawbacks of this one.

Which one do you choose Acebeam x50 original or Acebeam x50 v2 sir?
@FlashlightEnthusiast
2 жыл бұрын
For me upgraded version is a clear win over original. Although changes might seem minor, many of them addres key pain point concerning X50, including battery pack, charging, handle and Turbo performance. So If you considering only those two, I'd recommend going with the newer one, as the cost is identical. Hope that helps

Which do you prefer: This or the X75? Or the Manker MK38? I just bought a new house on 1 acre, and I’m in the market for a monster flashlight. Just not sure I want to spend $400.

Hi John, thanks for your question. Personally I use MK38 most often out of these 3 you mentioned. Great, ergonomic, yet detachable handle with controls, a bit more throw than X50 and convenient UI (at least for me, not everyone likes it). However, as you mentioned, there could be some better options even from Convoy? Or Sofirn if you do not need flat output stabilization

Out of my head these are two quite good monster flashlights, much more affordable than Acebeam and Manker: Lumintop GT3 puts out 20,000 lm Sofirn Q8 Pro about 12,000

I have checked it briefly, looks quite interesting and competitive towards X75. I guess lumintop marketing sucks a bit, so is the price of over 500$...
