Nice review, some great explanations of the board’s features. I’ve been waiting for someone to review this! Thanks, subbed.

I totally love direct drive boards because in my country in Europe e-skateboards are not allowed on public roads. And the police can hand out tickets that are up to a couple thousand euros for riding a not registered vehicle!🤬 So i ride my onsra black carve2 direct drive for years now and never had one problem. I even was riding next to a police officer and did a little fake push start😂😂😂 because it's dead silent and has unusual looking motors nobody was even considering it to be an electric skateboard. I will upgrade to the acedeck soon twice the power 14s is hard to resist

Since they’re so silent that makes a ton of sense. Thanks for watching. 🤙

Great review Dallas.. Now i want this to go with the Nomad..lol. One with AT and One for the Streets!!! Great Job, you make riding that board look like so much fun. Can't wait for Esk8con 2024, NCESK8 is ready to show out again..lol.

Thanks Gregg, gotta build that stable full of boards! I’m stoked to have this as a dedicated street board. It’s perfect for going out and carving a stretch of smooth pavement. And dude, NCESK8 came out strong last year, looking forward to riding with all you guys again 🤙

nice review, I have a stiff DD board myself as my daily and really love it so this review has provided some important info for my future purchases. Like the suggestions as well and was wondering if maybe they can also improve the ride with some suspension trucks like Avenue Trucks makes, maybe Acedeck can make a collab with Avenue and Riptide for that complete DD Street killer :))

With abec adapters why not go for abec 107mm or zoobomb 111mmn? You can even use the rubber thane combo like 105mm hydro or cloud wheels rovers 110mm.

Hey I have another question. Can this board ride backwards? Let’s say I want to do powerslides and end up riding backwards; does the board still turn okay backwards since the angle is different and whatnot?
@ELECTRIC-DNA
Жыл бұрын
It will ride backwards fine but to get the benefits of the split angle you’ll want to ride it in the correct direction.

I love the review. I'm going to be looking for a board to buy soon, so this helps a lot. Question: have you tried going minimum speed on any deck, and seeing the minimum turn radius on it?
@ELECTRIC-DNA

Hmm, that’s an interesting test. I haven’t tried that. Some super soft bushings will make that’s really doable though.

how does this board compare to your all terrain boards and how much does it weigh?
@ELECTRIC-DNA
Жыл бұрын
It’s a really different approach than a AT board so hard to directly compare. Kinda like comparing a truck and a car, just different use cases but their both vehicles. This X3 is so much fun on street, loving riding around smooth roads. It weights 31.2lbs

sorry, i mean in terms of torque and performance, how does this board hold up with a.t boards. are a.t boards considerably stronger or they’re similar in power? im a beginner to electric skateboards so apologies if my questions dont make sense.
@ELECTRIC-DNA
Жыл бұрын
@@dang2579 all good, because this board is 4WD it helps give it a good amount of torque. Because you’re not able to change gearing though like a belt drive board there is no way to lower the top speed and increase torque. I never felt while riding it I needed more torque since it’s running 97mm street wheels. The board is plenty fast and everyone that’s ridden it so far here has felt the same when I’ve asked them. It’s not a complete monster but is a really great combination of features to give a really unique ride.

I believe you can make some adjustments. I’d recommend reaching out to Acedeck directly so they can help you through it. There is also the Acedeck owners group on Facebook where I think they’re fairly active.
