scott66, I am enjoying the videos! I have some thoughts and recommendations Radar: If you are going to use radar that much, I would recommend that you size the clipboard so it only obscures your instrument panel and cockpit floor. I assume you are not referencing those when you fly. Then zoom the map to only include a little more than a sector's worth of your vicinity (yours shows about 9 sectors), because it doesn't seem you are basing your tactical decisions on information outside of your sector. That way you won't obscure your cockpit windscreen and you should be able to see the information you want in your sector even better. It would continue to obscure your overhead and side rearviews, so you would have to remember to stow it during a flight. I would personally use radar less and use views more. Lose sight, lose the fight! Gunnery: Your convergence was set at 425. Shots taken at 800+ are almost back to being as wide as the guns are spaced on the aircraft with a lower probability of hit even if you are leading properly. If you aren't leading properly, you are wasting ammo hoping to get lucky. So, why bother aiming (I mean, why bother shooting)? I would also recommend, as you mentioned some have already, that you push your convergence further out (>600) but also wait until the target is closer to the size of your reticle as a reference. I mean 425 is great if you can get them to hold still at that distance. It will be like a laser. But they rarely pose for your gun film camera like that. Having the convergence further out keeps the bullet paths apart longer and increases the probability of one of more paths intersecting with the target's flight path and decreases the need for pinpoint accuracy within your effective aiming range. There is an induced yaw with each control stick movement in uncoordinated flight that typically throws off the aim as the plane finishes a roll, a climb, or descent to line up the sights on the target. Pause half a second to let the yaw stabilize before pulling the trigger. Lead in the direction the nose of the other aircraft is pointing. I prefer low deflection shots at my leisure to snapshots at high deflection requring lots of lead and luck. Feel free to take it all as worth a grain of salt, I'm just a Monday morning armchair backseat pilot after all!

ha! I may have taken it easy on you for a minute, but once the dar went completely lop sided that was the end of that. One of my d9 sorties i was definitely messing with you though. The one that I cut my engine to let you shoot me. Fun stuff man

@@scootersplace9324 Lol. Yipi asks "are you scoober"? So I said no, Im Clu. He said no I'm not, and proceeded talk a load of unprovoked stuff. And finishes of with "I know who you really are". I just mentioned it to you because you are an unbiased player who has watched me switch live, and thought you'd find it funny A while back he was whining about Skyyr's "shades", so I asked him why it was ok for him to fly as Yipi and Hachi but not ok for other people to have more accounts. Maybe he is mad about that.
