The only reason I watch this video was to see what size hold you use and how you use that tap itself and you didn't show and your heading says nut and you didn't show how to do the nut

Yeah....like McMaster-Carr. Whole thing for $175. But depending on your shop rate, maybe you can make this nut for around $750....

Hola Aless. He intentado hacer una rosca como tu lo has hecho. Hice una prueba en aluminio antes de hacer la definitiva en latón. Fue imposible. El macho entraba muy duro y eso que era aluminio. Al final se rompio el macho. Me gustaría saber el diametro del macho que has usado y el diametro del taladro que has hecho en la pieza de latón antes de proceder al roscado. Estuve buscando información sobre esto y no encontré nada. Por ejemplo para un macho TR12, paso 3 a izquierdas, que taladro debería hacer previo al roscado. Muchas gracias y recibe un cordial saludo.

Hola José Luis. Este tipo de machos de roscar tienen que quitar mucho material y hay que hacer mucha fuerza. Por eso es muy importante que esté bien centrado. Mi recomendación es que rosques interiormente con el torno con el mismo paso pero con una herramienta de roscas métricas normal antes de pasar el macho trapecial. Para buscar los diámetros del taladro previo debes mirar la DIN103, puedes dejar una o dos centésimas de holgura de más para que el macho trabaje mejor. Creo que yo utilicé un TR18. Un saludo.

@@AlessGonzalez Gracias Aless. Si, vi esa norma y dice que el taladro interior para TR12 paso 3 debe ser 8 mm. Le di ese diametro y era definitivamente imposible que macho avanzara. Le pase una broca de 9 mm y tampoco. Le pase una broca de 10 mm y empezo a ir pero cuando entro como unos 15 o 20 mm ya no iba más. Le pase una broca de 10.5mm y entro un poco más pero sin llegar a terminar de roscar completamente la pieza de aluminio. La intentar forzar un poco más, creeme que estaba durisimo, fue cuando el macho partió. Creo que las dimensiones que aparecen en las tablas en general son más teoricas que prácticas y siempre que he intentado pasar machos de diametro superiroes a 8 mm he tenido problemas con el diametro del taladro previo que dicen las tablas. Te puedo decir que recientemente tuve que roscar interiormente una pieza de acero con un macho M16x2. Las tablas decian que el taldro debia ser de 14mm. Fue imposible. Tuve que pasar una broca de 14.75mm para que el macho trabajara bien y aun así haciendo mucha fuerza. Un saludo. José Luis González

@@АнтонПовар у него особенность есть - первый виток-калибр, это сделано конструктивно, по нему он центруется и выполняется отверстие, т.е. метчик не привычно конусный
