Miss Berta makes it out of intensive care to find daddy was shot in Dakar and is now a millionairess. Mrs O fluffs her lines (surly not!). It all happens here folks!!!
I don't know how many times I've turned to the wonderful world of acorn antiques when life gets too much . Thank you Victoria . Thank you

Skewed, messy wig, unbuttoned jacket, rushed lines--great stuff. My favorite is the scene on the couch when Trixie comes in wearing 'jammy' wedding gown. Mrs Overall crashes into lamp, which is caught and held by Celia, as bulb flickers, and Victoria corpses. Camera angle is low on 'Miss Berta', the payoff--a shot up her skirt through her widely parted knees. Also love amnesiac Berta's lines of "I don't know a Trixie...I don't know anyone...I live in a world of strangers!" Hall of Fame segment, bar none.

The beauty of this is how they don't have to worry about things like sound booms creeping into the shot, camera shadows, etc. Because it's meant to be crap, none of that matters!

@RelativeBadger Rubbish, she's said its based on Coronation Street, Waggoners Walk and Crossroads actually. The electrocution scene is a direct piss-take of Valerie Barlow's hair dryer death and FYI the 'behind the scenes spoof' was based on the one recently made at that time about EastEnders and Julia Smith.
