Discovered this video recently, as I also have a Fender Acoustic 100 and I love it. Question for you: I also have the Fender MGT-4 footswitch as I think I see in your video. But if your MGT-4 is plugged into the Footswitch jack in the back of the amp, how are you also connecting your looper pedal?

Hi Dylan, cant discribe how freaky it was when I accidentily caught your video. Ive just retired, 66 and decided its not to late to learn guitar properly. so ive bought a Boss looper pedal RC5 and the Fender acoustic 100. only plugged it in yesterday. only got a guitar lead so i need something for my looper pedal. but at present not even sure what the different effects mean, no reverb? Loce your style and the fact that your not a snotty tutor who knows more than the rest. keep it up, i look forward to your future casts. Laurence of diPravia. 😁😁😁

Thank you for sharing this! It was definitely helpful. Just bought that amp today AND looking forward looping tips. The background noise (music) is distracting to your information and not acoustic… boom boom boom … what what what … Thank you, again though, for the great info 😉

Good video! I'm just trying to work out how to record from the fender 100... If you have any tips on how to do this I'd be most grateful.

left and right balanced outputs are included on the back of the amp
@simonandthelyricalpoets

@rickhawkins218 thank you so much for that. Does that mean I would need to use one cable from each output, or could I get away with just using one cable into a digital interface for example please?
@rickhawkins218

@@simonandthelyricalpoets each output is a separate channel so you'd need 2 cables. The headphone jack is 3.5 mm stereo out though.

Hey I'm buying that amp this Sunday, I'm wondering how does the bluetooth work? Does it have a button which you click when you want to connect to it? Also, what's the name of the looping pedal? Great set-up!
@Thunderbirdphotography

Hey thanks! Looping pedal is a Boss RC-30 and no button on or off for the Bluetooth it just turns on when the amp is on and sounds really good for being an amp!
@mweerdenburg

Found it already? You can connect it the first minute you turn on the amp. After that it stops looking for a bluetooth connection.

Pushing the 2 white phase buttons at the same time will make it search for a bluetooth signal also

Do you need phantom power for the condenser microphone?
@Thunderbirdphotography
5 жыл бұрын
If it's directly in the amp no, but through the Boss RC-30 yes you just need to flick the switch on the pedal.
@calvinfeng5357

@@Thunderbirdphotography oh awesome thanks man. I probably don't need to loop vocal, most likely just plug it directly into the amp. If I were to get the boss RC loop station, it actually acts as a phantom power for the condenser mic?
@calvinfeng5357

Thanks for your review! I just got the amp, amazing sound quality, works well with a dynamic mic. And it does provide phantom power for condenser mic! Now my concern is actually the feedback. Condenser is very sensitive, wouldn't it pick up the sound coming out from the amp and creates feedback loop? It seems that it didn't happen to you, I wonder if you did anything to prevent that

@@calvinfeng5357 Hi Calvin, the phantom power is automatically applied to the condenser mic from the model 100w amp? or is there a switch to turn on or off the phantom power? Thanks for your feedback.
