Came here to say this. This was really moving. This is something that I would like to be treated by youtubers when AP steps in the stream with some youtuber. Chad talking about things he does and future projects. The rest of the questions coming from the so-called experts are just words, words, words from consumers and they can keep them in a separate video. If they get an interview with Chad, it would be nice if they show up with actual questions. Today’s interview was inapropriate from my perspective. All that youtube heard trying to get a reaction from Chad was just wrong. They should have prepared more if they wanted to address “the group” questions.

The video is awesome and respect for what you are doing and on what high level you are producing. 🙂One of my favorite LPs from you is "Ella and Louis" 45rpm (AP-4003) and "Satchmo Plays King Oliver" (APJ 5930). However, I experienced a dampener of enthusiasm with the Miles Davis "Kind of Blue" LP UHQR: my copy had pressing errors (I was by no means the only buyer who complained about this, the problem was well known), the LP was shipped anyway and unlike the customers in the US, who got their copy replaced without any ifs and buts and for free, this was the total nightmare for me as a European customer, as you only got the record replaced with high costs and additional purchase ... so, the returning policy of Acoustic Sounds is not really customer-friendly other companies can do better! Well, just for those who want to know: I decided against a replacement (I simply didn't want to invest again about the same amount in a replacement LP...) and now live with a press defective, expensive Miles Davis LP, which I didn't listen to a second time, because I was so disappointed by everything. Sorry, but I just had to get rid of that now - with all the other praising here!

Many in the US got refunds as well after going through two or three or four replacement copies that were all the same.
@vinyl_marmalade
2 жыл бұрын
@@VideoArchiveGuy yeah, I know, but outside the US it's different: you have to return the LP at your own expense, buy something again for at least 50$💰, then pay again for shipping and customs, that means you end up with 150$ for the replaced LP plus for something you didn't want in the first place and then you don't know if the LP is ok or if you have to throw another 150$ in the air - that's just not worth it in any way and is complete bollocks 💰
