I discovered Acres recently with their song "Write Home". I really liked it, but only once I went through a heart break in the last couple of weeks did I really truly connect with them. These lyrics reach into me and express everything I can't seem to be able to. The music drives the feeling home, and gives the words such a deeper meaning. I acknowledge that not all of their songs are about being love-lost. But I also acknowledge that they are all forever beautiful. Many thanks to this band for doing what they do. And I look forward to the music they have yet to share with us.

+TysonIsKetchy I was honestly crushed when I heard this news. For many reasons... Firstly, I feel their old vocalist was getting significantly better with time, and then most importantly because his lyrics correlated so perfectly with Acres' music, as you illustrate in your second comment. I'm glad you feel the same way. And I'm glad you feel so deeply about the lyrics as well... Cheers, mate~

Mehbobo Torp dude when i discovered this song it touched my soul. not a lot of hardcore does that, mostly its just melodic hardcore. but when there's passion in the lyrics and the instruments speak out just as much, damn.

+TysonIsKetchy Yeah dude I feel you 100%. This song as well as "Write Home" and "Overburden" reached into the depths of my soul and expressed what I never could. They are (were) inspiring. To be honest, I'm not really interested in their newer stuff. I mean it's alright, but it's such a high fall. I fear Acres died along with Richard Morgan's departure.
