Acrylic Pouring - Pouring a spiral. So I was listening to all the comments i got on some of my other spiral pours using wire and wanted to just keep trying to make something awesome using this technique. My first attempt of the night was a bit of a disaster where i tried to do an easy split cup feather pour into the spiral, but because its cold my paint was a bit variable in consistency and so all the black came out before the color and left me with a bit of a mess. Not to be put off i tried again and just kept the cup high enough to give a ripple and i chose my favorite colors and i think it worked out great! There was a bit more touch up than i would have liked but next time it will be perfect ;0) .. As you will probably know, i'm all about the drag lines and so i added these where i felt they would improve the piece and i'm glad I did (which isn't always the case lol) as the tidied up the edges and the pattern made with the center drag is just sublime. I really hope you like it! If you do please Subscribe - its what makes this all worth while :-)
