I think there might be a mistake here. The reason for the opening of the Potassium channels is not the depolarization of the cell, but the action potential. The same one that opened the Sodium channels also opens the Potassium channels, it just takes them a longer time to open.

Would have benefited by explaining how the action potential propagates along the membrane to effect contraction across the muscle fibers and (not localized to just where the motor neuron fired)
