@@cooperrudd09 there I’m using an Edge BCR 666 rod with a Daiwa zillion. That setup will handle any big Barra

Amazing footage at the start, mate. Shows how close you need to be with the lure, and therefore how much time you would waste on casts into dead water without that technology. The mathematical chance of getting it right would be very, very small. Was that an even bigger barra swimming away from you when you got the 96cm one, or a different species of fish?

Yeah I don’t know how I caught fish before, did look like a bigger fish there, the one swimming away was a lot harder to target

How did you manage to get your image so clear. Mine has moments when it clear and other times where is rubbish. Have never been able to se the splash of the lure and can on see the lure when it get really close to the boat. What am I doing wrong any advice would be appreciated thanks

It’s all about transducer angle, I have it on a separate pole so I can get it level, I angle it up till I can see the surface, then do a test cast to see if you can see the splash. I keep my range to 20m that way you can still see plenty of detail, I have my sensitivity set to A+2 and turn off noise rejection, hopefully that helps you, just got to play around with it, water clarity definitely plays a big part in it too
