I appreciate the videos and I enjoyed your online class but for some points, I think anatomical skeletons are the best.

Sorry for the late reply, Joseph! First, thank you very much for taking the course - it means a lot and I hope you got a lot out of it. And I totally agree with you, I have a skeleton that I use at the college I teach at and find it very useful...I just don't have the space for one at home! Thanks again for watching!

Dry needling was one of the few things that helped me with the triggerpoints in my body, but my acupuncturist punctured my lung. I don’t know who to trust anymore to get this done. I desperately want to have relief and to get the relief that I had in the past from having dry needling, but I am so afraid to trust an Acupuncturist. What do you suggest?

I'm so sorry to hear about the pneumothorax. I hate to see these things happen...they are totally preventable. I still get great results with this point needled in the oblique lateral directly, which is totally safe. Certainly consider a different Acupuncturist. Depending on where you are, there may be a regulatory body which can help you find someone who has the proper training. Bottom line, I think if you told this story to a new Acupuncturist, they would be very careful about how they needle this point. Alternatively, cupping can be quite effective as well. I hope you found this helpful. All the best.

Acupuncture Masterclass thank you, I remember looking into getting a different Acupuncturist but the person had the same experience and credentials as my previous acupuncturist. I don’t know how to make a judgement call anymore on that.

Is subconscious the same as threading?
@acupuncturemasterclass
Жыл бұрын
I'm sure it's a typo but subcutaneous needling is similar to threading - they are both usually performed very superficially in the subcutaneous layer of the skin. Threading is simply a way to needle through 2 or more acupuncture points with one needle (i.e. LI20 to Bi Tong).

@Acupuncture Masterclass it's predictive writing, but you have understood what I meant. Thanks 🌿

Where can I purchase these dolls you use?

The doll I used in this video is great for mapping out the head/scalp points but is not very good for needling into. I was hoping I could show more needling techniques with this but the layers are too thick. I think I purchased this from Amazon!
