Nice sound especially played with your hands. Reminds me of West African drums.

Question for you if you don't mind helping me. I built a drum and found i have a vibration sound coming from 3 tongues and wondering what could cause this. Everything is tight, no cracks in the wood and doesn't make the vibration sound unless I hit them with a little extra force with a rubber ball stick. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Adam: Your uncle, Tom, who is a coworker of mine, gave me the link to your video here. This is very interesting. I recently purchased a Peruvian Cajun drum to allow me to add some percussion to my music recordings instead of banging on pots and a wooden cutting board (yes, I resorted to that!). I'm not interested in using a conventional drum set (primarily because I stink at it), which is why I gravitated to the simple Cajun drum. But what you have seems even more intriguing. I'll have to look into them some more. The latest video on my KZitem page includes my first attempt with using the Cajun drum. I may need more practice. Check it out if you like.
