Brian Hanson I came here for the interview but had to stop, Mantz doesn’t really ask interesting or unique questions. He is also a bit full of himself. Kristian is the best interviewer by far on collider. I think collider live would have been fun. But hey, all power to you for loving me movie release dates.

L S Thanks, You would think being an entertainment reporter she wouldn’t bad mouth like that about a Movie star (a bit like biting the hand that feeds you) even if he wasn’t that nice to her at the press junket as she claims, I’m not making excuses for him but he would’ve been doing hundreds of them that day, Anyway it was just plain crazy that she carried on the way she did on that Collider episode it was just purely unacceptable and unprofessional, I hope that’s not the reason he won’t do Jedi Council? Or it’s Disney/Lucas film that don’t want him to leak anything accidentally.

First Reformed by Paul Schrader is my top choice so far. It's the culmination of Schrader's career who should've been nominated and won for Taxi Driver but was snubbed. I would also say snubbed for his adaptation of Affliction.

i think driver in his normal voice, is pretty calm and positive and logically if i had to pick what driver could be good in, i'd pick that he could play the son of bill murray's character in a more proper ghostbusters reboot , all he just needs to do is pull off murrayisms that could be fun for him like he could say the funny line murray would say in the original where he says "we came, we saw, we kicked its ass"

Why do people keep thinking that comedy has to be "happy"?!?! George Burns himself said that the BEST comedy = misery+timing. Blackkklansman is a dark comedy. One look at the thrust of the story should tell you that. #smh. Great interview with Adam Driver, btw. Only wish it had lasted longer. I'm pretty sure he'll get a nomination for Best Supporting Actor this year for BKl, especially if Terry Gilliam's The Man Who Killed Don Quixote isn't released in the US (bummer, that).

Let's face it. Disney has a lot of pull in Hollywood, and they have been known to use underhanded techniques to fulfil their agenda (see: LA Times). Streaming services are the Way of the Future™, and it would be very suspicious if streaming-focused movies only began garnering major Oscar awards nominations once the old guard have their services in place. We can't discount the power and influence of the (new) old-Hollywood network.

I’m with Jeff on Lanthimos; The Lobster was almost unwatchable to me, but The Killing of a Sacred Deer is one of the best of last year (and deserved a best picture nomination, along with countless others)
