Thermite: Aluminum can melt at about 900 - 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Glows bright orange at 1800. Fire temp.: Around 1830. Color of molten thermite. Debunked maybe? Collapse: Steel (I think the beams were made of steel) is weakened to 10% of its strength at that temp. All of the weight of the building can't be supported and it collapses. You don't think that makes sense?

@ComplainBear 1. it was a 757. 2. it didn't vaporize, it exploded into bits spread over an area of about 4 miles. It took while but eventually about 95% of the aircraft was recovered, including both blackboxes. Also large peices of aircraft were found with that wreckage.

@WilliBond0007 Explosives that are used to demolish buildings are installed so that they make the stuctural integrity of the building fail, and most of the demolishing is indeed done by gravity itself. The situation is not terribly unlike what a fire might cause.

A note about the "myths you have footage for but never aired due to fear of people doing it". I was at a conference with adam and jamie, and they said there was an episode they did on a certain home built explosive they swore to never release because it was so effective. Said conference was a full year or two after this video came out.

They could fly a full sized RC-737 with 550mph at 700feet. That would at least convince people of the planes. Well, that doesn't explain why they randomly materialize, are invisible to some cameras, completely vaporize after cutting through steel beams like butter..... but it would be a start. Oh wait, they should crash a 737 with max physical possible speed into the ground and see if it really vanishes...

@WilliBond0007 You mentioned that thermite "is used to demolish buildings." My understanding is that explosives (particularly RDX, copper cased, shaped charges) are the more widely used cutting tool in demolitions and I'm fairly certain that thermite isn't used in demolitions at all. Can you list some examples of thermite being used to cut columns in a controlled demolition?

I wouldn't say entirely false... rather a benchmark for the point in time that the science was solid enough to call them laws/facts, so science can continue from a basis. Because without those scientific laws/facts, further development would be very difficult. And they new discoveries need 'older' science for validation... it can never be 'false' in that sense.

@WilliBond0007 I have said nothing about any physics so far, but I will say now. Freefall? Yes, I know what that is. Freefall, however, has nothing to do with calculating the stresses of various members in a complex structure. Fire causes buildings to collapse all the time. That is a fact, so don't insult my intelligence. Note I'm not saying that this is necessarily what happened in this case. You may well be right, but as of now it's impossible to know for sure so let's leave it at that.
@Moh1Z
13 жыл бұрын
@WilliBond0007 I understand Newton's laws and their limitations. What I don't understand is why you repeatedly fail to see that I'm not arguing about that with you. My only point is that fires can make buildings collapse. Please explain what you mean by "the 3 buildings couldn't have come down at freefall speeds". If the structures collapse, what's stopping them?

@kihhn (continued) there are photos not often acknowledged by the truther movement showing a back view of building 7 as having a great deal of damage as a result of the debris. There may have been other contributing factors, but without refreshing myself on the research at the moment, I know that had a great deal to do with it... But of course, just like I said, I doubt these facts, much less a full scale model test, would probably convince you of much.

@kihhn ..That such an event would not be in danger of leaks over time. I mean if the cons are true we're talking about all sorts of US citizens, scientists, technicians, airline officials, demolition experts and so on involved. How do you even begin to approach people to commit the most heinous act perpetrated on US soil? How do you know they'll go along? They won't tell anyone ever? How much do you pay someone for something so horrible? And so many? It's an unbelievable scenario 4 sure.

@kihhn No, I believe explanations that have evidence on their side. I also find that Occam's razor tends to be a reliable way to discard unreasonable assertions. You see aside from the fact that most of these questions you ask do have perfectly logical explanations, I find the idea of a controlled demolition fantasy because of the shear number of people it would have taken to pull such a thing off and how ANY governing body would be insane to take a risk that such an event (cont)

@kihhn Also the types of reports that NIST and FEMA create are not within the realm of peer review, however they do often contain references to peer reviewed science to make their case. The NIST and FEMA reports do not exclusively deal with the science of what occurred, so it's not the jurisdiction of peer review. Perhaps you should google the mechanism of PR so you can acquaint yourself better with what it is and why it is the most reliable standard of truth in the sci community :)

Go and watch building 7 falling, and do me a favor think for yourself can that really be fire to make it fall straight down? All the other buildings that were right under the building that were on fire way worse and had stuff fall on it were still half standing.....

@kihhn No, it wouldn't prove it. Unless they made a full scale version of the WTC everyone that is sold on the theories would find something to bitch about. And even if they did build a full scale I'm sure people would still insist it was tampered with. Nothing will convince a die hard conspiracy theorist, least of all facts.

@WilliBond0007 If you want your point to come across you need to be able to present it in an astute fashion. Your intentions remain unclear owing to your extravagant use of CAPITAL LETTERS and fanatical claims about reliable internet sources. I'm not familiar enough with this case to dispute your stated evidence, and I also don't care. Although I could've phrased it in a more friendly manner, I was just pointing out that architects would not be the most obvious people to ask for opinion on this.

@Moh1Z Oh by the way, if you watch the Spinifexpeople Pilots for 9-11 truth, it's extremely technical. I took the FAA exam over 20 years ago & probably know more about flying than most, but their arguments are not as obvious as I think Richard Gage's are. You see it's easy for me to understand how 5 men who own the media and their friends at the country club who own the munitions industries & energy conglomerates could get away withis. I worked in DC & saw how sickenly corrupt the system is.
