Saleh is Lebanese. He was born here outside of Detroit in a Muslim city named Dearborn: I was born in Detroit. but he wore the Lebanese patch flag after the loss in England. Saleh is the 1st Muslim head coach in nfl history

Stop spreading that ridiculous false narrative. Had nothing to do with that. Why wasn't he fired the 3 other times he wore it?? Because that wasn't the 1st time. Do you know the nfl has encouraged coaches and players and other staff on the sidelines to represent their backgrounds? Multiple coaches have worn patches,Multiple players wear stickers on their helmets. It's a nfl initiative! 😂 he wouldn't get fired for that. And so what,he wore a patch of where his family is from, who cares! Oh but if he had the Israeli flag on his shoulder it'd be different? Bunch of nonsense. The U.S. is a melting pot,the nfl is a melting pot. We are all in this together.

Saleh was a disruptive influence by going after Hackett he is wasn't on board with the Jets so he did it too himself with his rebellious attitude. Im glad he got canned for being an idiot Rocking the boat he is a creep.

There is a vast area between 'Demanding coach is fired' and being a primary reason it happened. Saleh deserves some heat sure but is ARodge coachable at this moment? He is seen blowing off Hackett an OC he had success with in the past. Mean mugs Saleh instead of bro hugging the moment. Serious question. Is Rodgers someone who can be coached at this phase of his career?

Asking all these questions as if you have the answers. Maybe let the Jets figure out the parts you don't know about (literally everything)

Quite. All the reporting on this firing was accurate on Day One. Right decision made at entirely the wrong time mostly for the wrong reasons. You cant run an organisation as complex as an NFL franchise and have the QB wield that much influence. Whether or not A-Rod pushed the button is irrelevant we know he influenced the offence to the point that it didnt work (Lazard? Hackett? Zero motion?) and we can be 99% sure he bitched about it to Woody at some point. Day Two stories is all the responsible parties shifting the blame away from them or just denying the reporting. It makes sense that AR would narrow the scope of inquiry to the point where he can just deny having directly fired Saleh.

I think there's some similarity between this situation and BB's last years in charge of the Pats. His way of running a team and an organisation was out of date (just like AR's ability to read a df) and he had enormous power in the organisation supplanting the GM who is supposed to be a check and balance. With nobody to tell him NO he gets his buddy to coach the offence (Patricia) who is a disaster just like AR's insistence on getting his cronies involved (Hackett, Lazard) has completely negated any arm talent he may or may not have at this point in his career.
