Thank you for the great tips and taking the time to teach us in a clear, easily understandable way. I recently subscribed to your feed and am just thrilled to learn so much. I have a Solaris 3 and a new Vision and am having a blast learning all the stuff I didn’t know much about as there isn’t much from BL even with my Love of Sewing classes. I AM BEYOND THRILLED WITH YOUR VIDEOS AND ALL THE NEW STUFF I’M LEARNING.😁👏

I’m not sure how to apply this to an actual project… for example, I have a Classic Santa’s quilt I am working on, where I have to do blanket stitches around everything… is there a way to scan the quilt block and then apply some of these stitches to it, verses actually sewing the blanket stitches around the block sections? Just curious…

You can scan the blocks into IQ and add blanket stitches around your embroidery or appliqué as well, Margaret. Look for the tutorials I’ve done on scanning to see some things you can do.

Melinda: Thank You so much for your time. I wish I could retain all the tips you give us. Got me a pencil and paper by the machine to try to remember the buttons you are punching and the sequence. Again, thank you.

I’ll do a video so you can see rather than me explaining. I’ll post it within the week. Thank you for the great question, Julie!
