Thank u so much. You explained what was happening in my van perfectly. I have 3 120 AGM batteries and when I boil a kettle of water off a low amp kettle the amps drop below 12 then rises again and when I try boiling a second kettle soon after my 2000w inverter starts beeping even on a full charge. Anyway I have just contacted the aforementioned company and waiting my callback, Again thanks. BTW, how long is your discount valid as I’m going to Scotland next week and I’m not sure if they will be able to fit me in b4 I go.

Have a word with them and see what they can do. Just mention you watched my vid and that they were setting up a discount on the battery’s. I can’t see it being an issue if you sort something before you go even if it’s for when you get back. Glad it was of use to you.

Fantastic informative video, Have you put them on a heat mat for use in deep winter to keep them above 0deg ? I watch a few canalboat vlogs and they have moved the battery packs from the cold engine bays to inside the boat. Best one was Jouney with Jono. He ended up working for Victon

@@BugoutvehiclesukPlease don't think i'm being critical. I'm just trying to help. If your solar panel tries to charge your Lifepo4 batteries during the winter when the temperature is 0 degrees (freezing) your will totally destroy your new batteries. You really need to check if the BMS has a low temperature sensor cut off. I'v looked on the website and there is no mention of a low temp sensor cut off. P.s keep up the great work with the videos.

I think you're being a bit hard on yourself regarding previously using lead-acid batteries. Lithium batteries out-perform lead-acid batteries in almost EVERY way but you shouldn't underestimate the importance of cost. If you can buy a 100ah lead-acid battery for £70 and it allows you to get out and about for a year, that's not a cost you need to worry about (hell, it's less than a tank of fuel, these days). Conversely when you've got to sink over a grand into a lithium set-up, it IS a big deal. It's only when you've been doing it for a few years that you can really decide that it's a good idea to sink that kind of cash into batteries and know, for certain, that it's going to be money well-spent.
@Bugoutvehiclesuk

I think the biggest thing is I’d justified going lead because I didn’t understand how much of a jump in performance it was. I thought they were still similar running time and churching times. It’s night and day and now Iv used it I get it.
