The instructions in this video also apply to many other Casio watches which use a "pin and collar" design in a bracelet which may be made of Titanium or Stainless Steel. If you are interested in more information about this model of Oceanus watch, here at two videos I made.
• Casio Oceanus OCW-S100...
• The Cool Way the Date ...
A few weeks ago I ordered a used OCW-S100 watch. I was confident that it was in "near mint" condition just like the seller said it was. The only trouble was that, when it arrived at my house from Japan, the bracelet didn't have enough links. It was too small for me to wear the watch. I ordered a couple of new links from PacParts.com for about $25 each and then I waited another five weeks or so before PacPacts was able to fill the order. But all is well now that the links have arrived and I was able to make the bracelet fit my 7-and-a-half-inch wrist.
In this video I will show you the method I used to add/remove links from one of these "pin and collar" style bracelets. It's not too difficult, especially if you have the right tools (which are simple to use and not-at-all costly to purchase). The worst part about working on a bracelet like this is when you lose one of those tiny "C-rings" or "the collars" that are essential to make the pins stay in place. But with a few, simple precautions you should be able to avoid losing those tiny pieces and your watch will fit perfectly. Also, you can look to PacParts to help you get a replacement C-ring if you happen to lose one (or more).
Just watch my video and it'll all make more sense. Avoid the heartbreak of losing essential pieces of your watch's bracelet. You can do it!
