Moved that tire pretty easy........looks like it's not filled with fluid..... Absolutely needs filled....that will help greatly with stability.

I will not add fluid to the tires on my T474 for the main reason to keep the weight down on it. I use it on lawns and yards and the weight of filled tires would make an impact on them. I have two other tractors that are way, way heavier so I use my T474 in a variety of locations. Thanks for the comment and for watching.

I'm in northern Arkansas, I've had a couple close calls already. Same issue, inclines. Great video install and presentation. Thank you.

Thank you very much. I appreciate that. I am very happy with the spacers, it totally changed the way the tractor handles and rides.

Thanks for the video, As for using a straight extensions, it's ok as long as it's held straight. I see you have some sort of flexible socket and that's ok also as long as it's held straight.

@charleschapman2428 Thanks for watching. I was hoping it would help others that were thinking about doing the same installation. I almost did not make this video and stopped and got the tripod and camera out. I figured someone would benefit. Yes, at that time, my regular long extension was at another location so I had to resort to the ole wobble extension which is a real pain. LOL. Thanks again.

I have a T474 and I'm entertaining installing spacers. I feel a little uneasy on slight slopes. Both 3" and 4" are available for the tractor. My question is there a reason why you choose the 3" over the 4"?

Hi there! I chose the 3 inch to make my rear 6 inches wider. The 4 inch would make it a tighter fit on my trailer. I too was contemplating 3 or 4. But ultimately decided the 4 inch would be too much stress on the rear wheel bearings. 3 inch has been perfect for my use. Totally different tractor since adding the spacers. Thanks for watching!

Good work. I would like to attach an attachment point to each of my axle flanges to allow me to chain my T474 to my trailer. Do you know a vendor or the bolt circle? Thanks again.

Thank you for watching. I have not seen anyone try that, but I would think that would be some added stress pulling outward on the end of the axle. I am not sure of the bolt pattern, I have never measured it yet. But I probably will now. LOL

Well man!.. that is what you bought.it is a smaller frame, that is the selling point. Should have bought a T494 full frame

I sort of agree with you to a point. But we have three tractors, two of which are full frames. By adding spacers to my T474, it made it the perfect tractor for me. I like the compactness of the T474 and yet the power. I use my T474 on lawns sometimes and our full frame John Deere 5103 is just too large for that use. Thanks for watching.
