Sitapriya Moorthi, PhD, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, Seattle, WA, highlights disparities in lung cancer research in terms of race, gender, sex, and age. Studies have highlighted potential genetic differences in these groups, especially considering that more non-smokers with lung cancer are women. More inclusive studies in this area will reflect to more accurate results that reflect the real-world. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
