Great to see you come to Adelaide. I like our tram network and it is currently being extended to East Adelaide off North Terrace and Riverbank. Well done.

When was this filmed? Shuttle Trams haven't run on a regular basis since early 2016, when they were cut in lieu of a higher frequency along the whole line. Interesting to see a tram turn around at South Tce though, I've never seen that before (even though it happened often for a time).

It is so nice seeing trams in Australia. We have made an important article about light rail and why it is so important and how they can actually be both trams and local trains here distrita.com/7-important-reasons-why-light-rail-is-the-future-of-public-transportation/

Great Video, I particularly love these slim trams! My last stay in Adelaide was in 2012 where I took some videos too. Meanwhile the tram network has increased, would love to see all the changes. Greets from Germany! kzitem.info/news/bejne/qqV-2IqbnpVza6Q

Trams made in Spain instead of Australia? Seems our state governments of either side of the political are a treasonous lot! Newcastle's new tinker-toy tramline is also getting foreign-built trams....Disgusting!
@Schony747

Like the Melbourne C2 Bumblebee tram, this was surplus to Italy's requirements so Adelaide took up the trams on offer. The E Class trams for Melbourne is the only current Australian order and it will be interesting where the next order comes from.

"Big Ticket" items like trams, trains, cars, trucks and such for transport, consumer goods like TVs, DVD players Blu-Ray players, set-top boxes(with or without PVR feature). Nothing of these made here in Australia. Why is this so? the answer is simple. TREASON by our state and federal governments, both Labor and Liberal! Australia is now a captive market for FOREIGN-MADE products. The only thing we export now is low-value raw material.

It's a disgraceful situation that we are not making our own of ANYTHING. And we CANNOT use a small national population as an excuse. Countries smaller than Australia have their own industries making big-ticket high-tech product. We had our own industries that were thriving at a time when our population was MUCH smaller than it is today. So, in the end, it gets back to State and Federal government TREASON!
