Hey AJayll, kindly to me seem "Oh my God" is one of the best produced songs on the album, the production starts following a very beautiful beat, and goes in a game of very delicious ascending harmonies that explode in a very soul choir. I think if it doesn't catch you like me or other people, it's understandable we all experience and feel music differently. But personally I consider this one of the best on the album.

It surprise me that you only marked 4 songs out of 12 when I literally felt the connection to every song (especially the last 3 songs), therefore, I marked the majority of them except for My Little Love because that song was too emotionally raw and heavy for me to handle and keep listening. I thought you'd feel and connect to them too instantly. Overall, I love the album. Her vocals. production and songwriting are top tiers and what I need for an album.

I personally think Ajay was not ready - nor in the 'exact' mood to listen to 30. Anybody - everybody could have his/her opinion, but this album is a conceptual album, telling stories throughout the songs, and myself and most will agree that this album has the most honest, beautiful, raw, and brutal lyrics Adele has ever produced. Not only lyric-wise, but the sound, the tone, the melody, the stories are so fresh and different, but they scream Adele. I don't think this 'initial' reaction did justice to the album. As for my own opinion, I may have least favorite tracks on '21' or '25', but good god every single song on '30' is a favorite; it brings out joy, sadness, loneliness, and aches out of myself - and i am happy to have those emotions wrecking my entire existence.

I think we’ve been lucky to be able to connect with so much of Adele’s music over the years, but something I’ve learned about her is she doesn’t write (and has never wrote) music for the fans. This is music for herself and it’s sort of a personal diary that she feels empowered enough to share with the world. So I take in everything she writes as a “fly on the wall” so to speak and I love and appreciate her for it, and I think that’s what makes her one of the most brilliant artists of all time.

So glad to hear that this album will get a revisit! I love that Adele produced something for herself, and was vulnerable yet still shared it with us too. I for one really enjoy her tapping into different influences and styles of music; I think a lot of people forget that she can be more than just killer balads. Obviously the lyrics will not connect with everyone since they are so personal to her, but for me a huge part of experiencing an album is letting myself feel the emotions behind it (most commonly with songs in other languages). Lyrics can definitely be a massive component and a way people connect with music, but they're certainly not the only way to.

@@thesilenttreatment6837 hmmm I don't think this album could be compared to Lemonade though. Lemonade had personal elements but was also a social critic and denunciation of the African American predicament. Adele's 30 is mainly about her divorce and family. Moreover, while Adele did diversify her sound a little bit, almost all the songs on lemonade have a different genre. The only thing lemonade and 30 have in common (in my view) is that they are deeply personal, both address the topic of separation (ironically Beyonce is the one got cheated on, yet she's the one that forgave the man and returned to the guy who hurt her while adele moved on) and they are the highest rated album of the respective artists.

Well, we all feel things differently. The music that touches you won't always touch other people in the same manner. It's nice that you're passionate, but don't try project your feelings about art onto someone else who clearly doesn't share your feelings. You're your own person. The way someone else reacts to music you love shouldn't matter. YOU enjoyed it, YOU felt something, that's all that matters.

@@deviantmoore9744 oh shut up when gaga dropped CHROMATICA that was purely pop and had very little emotions she was bullied into liking it All we're asking of her is to revisit this emotion-filled album because even if she couldn't relate to some songs on her initial listen they are DEFINITELY growers

@@weneedadele4302 chromatica is definitely pop (more house though), but to say that it has very little emotions just disregards the work and lyricism put into the album. It's Gaga's most personal album to date...

I do agree that in my initial listen i didn't connect with some songs, but listening to it more times made me love deeply the album, Adele was so vulnerable, personal, open, she just did this for her and her child. It was amazing.

The way she matches her headband to the album cover will forever be iconic
