As a kid, I used to be tired of this song and many other classical guitar pieces, as my mom would play the same ones for five hours a day to practice. Now, I love them, it reminds me of her and her fiery passion for classical guitar.

I don't know what's the problem but as someone who has been teaching CG nearly for two decades take my advice: whenever you find a piece problematic leave it for a while and work on something else I guaranty when you come back you will have a different understanding of the issue. believe me it works for almost any other cases not just music.
@ww3032
3 жыл бұрын
@@payambehtash7124 thank you for your advice. I'm okay with most of the piece except for that sequence where you need to barre the 7th fret. I can't stretch my pinky AND do a decent hammer on and pull off.

@@ww3032 after playing for almost 7 years the one thing consistently works for me is singling it down to the exact shift that your struggling on and playing that as slow as you need to make sure you never miss. play it slow and repeat part your struggling on. it’s frustrating but it works
@ww3032
3 жыл бұрын
@@tylerkennedy2811 hey Tyler, thanks for your advice. There's 2 issues I've got with the song. One is the shifts, but like you said, for most songs I isolate it and after some repetitions I get it eventually. The other issue I have with adelita, and this is a huge one, is the trill I got to do while barring the 7th fret. Its too big of a stretch, and when stretched my little finger doesn't have the strength or flexibility to do a proper slur consistently. It's better after a couple of months of practice, but imo still pretty bad.
