I had my gallbladder taken out 12 years ago and have had non-stop trouble every since. I'm 52 years old and look like I'm 9 months pregnant. I'm always uncomfortable and have gained a ton of weight. I also feel a ton of pressure on my right kidney.

Yes it does. I get a snapping lightning feeling and also a pulling feeling. I also get inflammation from it. The doctor that did a laparoscopic surgery said the adhesions had wrapped around the nerve bundle in my lower pelvis. No one will touch me.

I cannot get anyone to even touch me. I was diagnosed with chronic pain after a kidney cancer in which I had a partial nephoretomy. I had a doctor look into my condition and was informed the scar tissue and adhesions had wrapped around the major nerve trunk goining through my pelvis area. The doctors all refuse to do anything for fear of damaging nerves . I deal with chronic pain all the time.

@@Its.nice2b_nice As am I. I found that Fentenal patches were the only thing that helps. Thanks to the government, My doctor is constantly after me to get off the patch. I do not seek drugs nor abuse my medication. It makes me sick to see doctors refusing pain meds now for ANY procedure. They are nothing but butchers and barbarians now. I hate my doctor and have no faith in any doctor any more. Every day is a challenge for me now. I feel for you and can relate really well.

👋 hello from Florida 10\26\22@@scottfirman You see that• it sure doesn't work for everyone• I've tried fentanyl epidurals and patches• Severe reaction to both couldn't pee for 4days• ended up in hosp with a catheter• tried SCS spinal cord stimulator too it malfunctioned in my body• these type things aren't for everyone at all• not a candidate for the pain pump either• it's just no hope at all• I don't understand why•😑 I'm just done•

Great information on adhesion barriers. I would also suggest that if someone already has scar tissue/adhesions (and they choose not to have another surgery), there are other conservative options. They should definitely consider Pelvic Physical Therapy (Women's Health Physical Therapy) as a viable treatment to manage/decrease associated effects of adhesions. It works!

I came here because I am concerned for my friend who is in hospital with adhesions that they don't want to operate on him even though he has been in pain for over a year .. I liked this video at first as it seemed to be just about explaining the adhesions but then focused more on women only .. oh well.

Ive had surgery twice. One for my appendix that busted, another for a small bowel obstruction had right after. I stil have reoccurring bowel obstructions which are never fun. When i feel them coming i take ibuprofen and it alleviates the pain & everything is fine by the next day or so. Is this okay?

This is not a women’s’ issue Like one of the doctors pointed out. It’s simply a health issue. As someone who suffers from it I think it’s extremely unhelpful to specify it is a women’s’ issue, which it, of course, is not.
