Only thing I dislike about the prime x original version are the 2 fly wires on top of the forefoot

Hi Sam sorry this question comes so late but I did ask you what shoe would be comparable to the rc elite v2 and you recommended the topo Spector can’t get not available so my question is how would the prime x be by comparison thanks again

Prime X is fantastic and about the most dynamic ride of any shoe but… a narrow platform for its huge stack and requires near constant focus to stay “aligned” or kind of or else…Specter more reliable broader and more stable.

Well a gimmick would not win a marathon and get disqualified. But for sure it isn't for everyone

Thanks, Does the shoe size is ok or you need a one size biger with running shoes?

Don’t go bigger here as given the height off the ground support will suffer.

People say not to "jog" in these shoes , so what would you wana be running minimum per mile ?? 6:30 per mile? 7 mins per mile ?? What is fast enough moving in these for them to be stable ??

I found that above 9:15 per mile or so things got shakier, requiring more concentration I tend to heel strike and those who don't as much might be able to run them slower. They are only "unstable" when you get off a direct straight in line stride.

I'd warn people to be careful with these. I'm not someone who needs stability but the minimal heel counter combined with the super tall, soft, and narrow heel and fit that is definitely at least half a size too big make for an extremely unstable heel. Just running on the cambered road felt like my ankles were at a significant angle. I think this may be better in a half size down and I really enjoy them otherwise, but I am also relatively light, small, efficient, and fast. I think these will definitely not work for a lot of people.

Clearly caution advised and no jogging in this one!

I don't know if you will know this or not but I'll ask anyway. I have the Adidas Adizero Adios 2 is a UK size 9.5 and they are good for me. The size 9 was just a tiny bit too tight on the toes, the 9.5 was definitely the one for me. What would you recommend in the Prime X as heard people say they run a little long but I don't know if that's compared to the Adizero 2's or just other shoes in general. So was just wondering if you would say they are the same fit as the adizero 2 or longer than them?

@@RoadTrailRun Hi, can you please tell me if these shoes would be good for power/speed-walking for a heavyset (230 lbs) man. I have a messed up back from a work injury & unfortunately can’t run anymore but I was wondering if these shoes with maximalist cushioning would be good for speed-walking or they’re only for runners (due to the stack height and/or offset)? Thanks 🙏

@@guspetrakis1233 Hi Gus, Sorry to hear about your back issue. Prime X I don't think a good choice for walking and back, not stable enough unless you are forward. Maybe consider something like Hoka Bondi or Speegoat first?

Sorry which Nike in particular. But yes while the sample was half size up I would go to usual size if not down half a US size here

Get half a size smaller on the Prime X and Adizero Adios Pro 2.

@@scottfinlayson8920 I got the Adizero adios pro 2 and the prime X half a size (.5) smaller and they fit great. On the 2 Adidas I took size 8.5 and on my other shoes Saucony endorphin speed 2 and New balance Rc elite 2 I took them in size 9. The Adidas in my opinion are half a size too big.

Mike Zane thanks for getting back to me with your answer. As I have the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 2's in a 9.5 then think I'll will order the same size in the Prime X as well. Watched a lot of reviews on them and really looking forward to trying them but never heard heard anyone making the direct size link to the Adizero 2's so was always left wondering if the Prime X simply ran a little larger in the series but if you've got them both in the same size then I should be fine doing so as well.

I normally wear 9.5 ordered 9 and they are huge like I have 1/2 inch of space even going down to 9 from my normal 9.5. I just ordered 8 as they were on sale may be tight as I believe I would be an 8.5 in prime x.
