Thanks for the review. I already bought Adilo a week ago for video archiving. There are some bugs, but nothing that you can't work around. For the price, it's a steal.

Great overview and review! I also purchased Adilo a few weeks back, but am curious to hear others' thoughts on it. So thanks again for the run down and the affirmation that Adilo for hosting is a great deal! Haha. I paused the video when you were showing your subscription page and saw what your page shows for DRM licenses (750 unique people). Do you understand well what that means/how to interpret that? How would you describe what DRM Licenses are? Thanks again!

Adilo offers numerous impressive features that surpass Vimeo by a significant margin. The customer support chat is highly responsive, and the pricing for the lifetime deal is very reasonable. However, it needs some fundamental elements expected from any modern video hosting platform. For instance, it doesn't support channel embedding for easy sharing on social media platforms, nor does it provide an adaptive user interface for seamless viewing on both computer screens and mobile devices. Additionally, the user interface is far from intuitive. While it might be acceptable during the beta phase, it contains too many bugs to be suitable for a full public release. At this point, I'm still determining if I'll be using it beyond 60 days trial period.

I was waiting for a more up-to-date video review of this. I didn’t know if it had much life left since they are apparently always doing LTD, but you got Tier 4 so it can’t be that bad.

The app may be ok, but the support is not. They use tricky promos, too. They would entice you to purchase with full features and when you do purchase they'd say that they made a mistake and will not give you what they promised in the advertisement.

Many thanks so far! 🙏🙏 In the last minutes of yout video you showed that your files used 4 or 8x more space than you uploaded. Do you know anything about the background meanwhile?

Thus is because the software creates multiple versions and sizes for each upload automatically. So it is optimized for all players and sizes.

Thanks for the review. I'm always wary of LTDs for video hosting, as there are significant ongoing costs that have to be met from somewhere. If they don't manage to get enough subscribers paying full whack they could go pop. Also I scrolled through some reviews and there's quite a few negatives noted around customer support which is a bit of a red flag for me.

The 700 gb bandwith is monthly, not how much is used at one time. So you are looking at 500 hours of video playback.
@LearnWire

Thank you for the clarification. I think for most use cases the 500 hours would be fine.

Excellent tool, unlimited storage is cool but is it feasible in the long run for the company, I wouldn't want my videos deleted after some time. Other than that it looks great. Also, The bandwidth looks like its for the whole month, if you are busy and have lots of students watching at 1080P maybe more bandwidth would be better.

Are you aware of any company details? Not finding anything in their legal documents, like Point of origin, address etc…

Their parent company is Bigcommand, and their headquarters are in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. The company owns 9 other tech stack companies, including Adilo. Adilo was founded in 2020, and BigCommand I believe, was founded in 2017. They have over 700 reviews on Trustpilot and G2. They are on Crunchbase as well. You can even get access to the founder's Linkedin page. The rating across several platforms is 4.6. This is good enough for me. Everything seems to check out nicely. Considering this vs many other softwares on Appsumo, I would say this one has more stability than most. Also, the "unlimited" storage is only on T4 and T5 plans which I would imagine would be less than 10% of sales, so in the long run, it won't impact operations in the future.

Nice. This seems nice, but they said on the page that its an alternative to KZitem or vimeo. Dont know. Also, do they provide AI generated captions and timestamps?

There reference is to video hosting. Many people host there sales page videos and courses with KZitem which is extremely unprofessional. that is the "alternative" they are referring to.
