A joke was going around when I was in the Middle East that went, "An Arab moderate was one who only held a grudge for seven generations." Let's hope the Iranians are more forgiving than that.

Many, but not all, of the US admirals and generals are exceptional executive leaders. It's a shame on the nation that the last that served in the White House was Ike. Even a mediocre admiral or general vastly outstrips the executive leadership of the 'best' senator (if one exists).

Thank you, Scott, for extending your guest list to those with such diverse areas of expertise. Stavridis has such a large body of knowledge, well beyond his obvious military specialty. This was an intriguing interview, & I appreciate your preparation for the questions you posed to the admiral.

@@michaelschneider-it is definitely biased. He said he has a lot of respect for Biden and is in favor of his policies. I don’t think there is anything wrong with that though. No one is claiming this is an unbiased podcast. It’s Scott’s platform he has the right to express his opinions.

My question is transition related - We all know the acceptable definition of insansity and how it relates to expectations - The level of choice that the two groups with the most power have habitually made for a long time is SUB STANDARD for the most part - WE NEED to work on maintaining the groups through evaluation by some sort of a third party group that isn't OWNED by anyone accept "For the people By the people" type of a thing!

Yeah, I don’t buy the whole Taiwan ruse either. China have nothing to gain and everything to lose from such an excursion. However, a land expansion towards the northwest makes a lot more sense. Maybe not by force but rather by sowing internal dissent in Russia.

LOL what a reGarded thing to say... NATO is moot because Russia won't attack anyone, right? Moldova, Chechnia, Georgia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan would have all totally snapped a NATO membership if it was on the table...
