Percy (A1891774) is a parvo survivor and is currently residing in a City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department foster home. He currently lives with the resident dogs and cats in his foster home and they all love him (although he’s been known to experiment with the cats’ tails). Percy has been neutered, microchipped, and has received his four rounds of vaccines. He sleeps in a crate in his fosters' bedroom at night and is progressing with his potty training. His fosters are exposing him to as many situations as possible (dogs, people, places, and children) in order to help with his socialization, including attending puppy playgroups. He’s also great in the car, where he’s been riding in a crate. Percy would thrive in an active household ready to take him on adventures! He’s no couch potato! His fosters think he’d be great at dog sports, including agility, obedience, and scent work. As of June 22, Percy is 22 pounds, and according to his Wisdom Panel genetic test results, he is a mixture of 17 different breeds of dogs (the highest percentages being 19% American Pit Bull Terrier, 17% German Shepherd, and 16% Australian Cattle Dog) and is likely to be a medium sized dog (30-50 pounds).
