Meningitis survivor Harmonie-Rose Allen, refuses to let her disability hold her back by taking up gymnastics despite losing her her arms and legs to meningitis as a baby (right). The five-year-old, who completed walking a half marathon in March this year (top centre inset), attends weekly classes at Baskervilles Gymnastics in Bath, where she has mastered the backwards roll and her own version of a cartwheel (left). Her mother Freya Hall, 25, admitted she was apprehensive for her to start the classes because of her disability. But after three months of classes, Ms Hall said: 'since then Harmonie has never looked back'.
