This looks similar to the dance the girls do at the Ghana Independence Gala each year here in Atlanta. I am a born Guyanese in love with Ghana.
I have watched this video over and over because of the EXCELLENT two younger dancers. The older adult is very graceful as well, but the energy and spirit that the other two dancers bring to this video is phenomenal!! Adwoa Yeboah Agyei - Why are they not in any of your other videos? If I ever were to add Adowa / Kete performers to an of my future events - I would only want the ones in this video. I would even fly them abroad if necessary.

We can all appreciate one another's culture. I am from Guyana, and I am amazed whenever I see African culture displayed, regardless of the country. Our borders are artificial, set my the 1884 Berlin conference by white people. Let us be more accepting of one another, rather than falling victim to division. One Africa!!!

LOL, you don't need a fetish priestess to learn adowa. It's not the job of priestess to teach adowa. And there is no "process" to learn it. Just learn the dance steps on KZitem or from someone who knows how to dance it
