The first film I saw with Adrienne was "You're Telling Me." I couldn't believe that such a gorgeous woman was virtually unknown to people outside her era. Her portrayal in the movie was so engaging and it seemed to be her genuine personality coming through. Needless to say I fell in love with her. In reading more about her, it seems she became disinterested in playing the "Hollywood" game and moved to New York. A shame she was never cast in some higher quality films, she deserved it.
