Sadly, Wednesday is right about dying alone. You can have lots of loved ones in your life, but odds are they won't be with you holding you the moment your life leaves your body. My grandfather died alone in the middle of the night in a hospice because the doctors told my father, aunt and other relatives it was ok to go home and get some sleep, assuring them my grandfather would still be alive come morning. He wasn't.
