I almost never get actual good players on my youtube so hey thanks sad that most of these crazy players won't get much attention from the community and the ones that become popular are most of the time low skill players since they're the most relatable edit: CB player "mon"'s link is broken GL player "凛"'s link is too

I particularly love the topics covered between 9:55 to 25:48. A lot of that stuff can go to the way side for people when they're "panicking" during a hunt or when players give the monster too much respect so even a 6-10 minute fight can easily become 20+ minutes. That's the type of stuff I tried to put into people's head

That was an amazing video. Already knew most of these methodologies of learning fights in sunbreak but seeing them applied at this high of a skill level is something else. You mentioned at the start that monsters in World tend to have more random attack sequences than Rise or even older MH titles. As a long time MH player, I've struggled enjoying World even after finishing the game and would like any advice for how to "learn" fights in that game, the biggest thing I struggle with is monsters feeling like their openings are too short and the random combination of attacks means you can't predict what they'll do.

very good breakdown actually and one pt i want to add on which u said briefly. its where the position between the monster and the hunter after each move that set the AI to do certain moves more so than other moves as im mainly a IB player. but i believe this is the core AI concept of most Monster in MHseries on top of rage mode extra move vs non rage. and certain special parts to hit when raged to trigger certain move etc.

Fantastic video! I know most of these things but execution, precision, and consistency are the hard parts for me. One tip that content creators always forget to tell you is to always record ur gameplay while you are practicing(they always record their gameplay so they tend to forget). I always thought my gameplay was decent until I started to record all of my practice sessions. When you are playing: "Wow, that was pretty clean!" When reviewing gameplay footage: "That run was sloppy af...." Intermediate-level players tend to overestimate how well they are doing in a fight, so a reality check is usually needed for improvement. I started to understand how hard it is to make your gameplay look impressive and how freaking amazing clean runs are after I started to record my gameplay.

I’ve been trying to optimize damage/openings for mostly grounded glaive, so this was a very helpful video, thanks! On a side note, I know elemental/grounded glaive is basically non-existent in serious runs, but does anyone know how good/bad the mh meta sets are? No one talks abt this weapon and I can’t find reliable info on what the balance of raw/element should be for tetraseal gameplay.
@juzzi
9 күн бұрын
@@Vichiffa-168 i don't really rate the mhmeta sets grounded ele glaive should be better dps that aerial combos on most hitzones but it's a matter of finding the right openings in each matchup. there will be sequences that aerial has better uptime on but you can just vary your approach. if you wanna do serious ele damage most weapons opt for berserk+moh+strife+blood awakening. with glaive's low base ele it's possible that dc+dragon conversion might be stronger but i'm not sure since i don't really play this weapon b23.tv/Cc9KNyB this run should be a good demonstration of an effective playstyle
