I've got an old "Andy LaVerne" book with this song in it. I'll have to have another go at it now with your tips. books are okay but "live" lessons from a great teacher are so much better!! We all like the shirt I reckon! hehe.

Love it. Your videos are always great. It seems that instead of relating it to the bebop scale you can think of it as arpeggiating over the diminished tritone.

Good idea! I guess it's also possible to do in the B-section of Rhythm Changes? For Example when the chord is D7? than play Em7 A7 D7?
