I know why you chose not to turn the lights on, but I think it would have benefitted from a little light in the room. I feel like it's a stop too dark

All personal preference. I think any brighter it would have looked unnatural.

Can you explain how to do it without this plugin? Also if you have few different shots of the same kitchen how you edit them all for the same look? Exposure etc..

Search “luminosity masking” on KZitem if you want to see how to do it without the plugin. Not going to explain here. I use pretty much the same process for all of my photos which keeps things consistent.

All depends on the lighting conditions. I can’t remember for this specific space. I may have even just done two exposures vs auto bracketing.
