I know i'm like years late to this but i'm really happy that i've graduated from beginner to advanced in less than a month I was able to create a working elevator using vector3, a healthbar gui, a money gui, a leaderboard, a laser that makes you take damage depending on how long you're on the part, and an object that heals you gradually for the amount of time you're standing on it until you reach full health. Thank you for these amazing tutorials really useful! (although i learnt my beginner stuff from alvinblox), however he doesn't have advanced scripting tutorials unlike you!

For people saying that Tool.Activated isn't working, make sure the script isn't inside the handle, but inside the blocksword.

Anything in a string will never be a syntax error unless you use something like another quote or syntax character in-general, but then you'd just add \ (backslash) before it.

For the brick destroying part, I made it so then you can only destroy the brick while you touch it using knowledge from the previous tutorials. (There is a bug where if you touch it with your body and then walk away, you can destroy it from long distances, and I can't fix it.)

Great tutorial! One question. How do you make it so when you click to destroy you have to click on the part, not click anywhere. Thanks though! Really helped I have been watched from the beginning. You guys should watch this guy! Hes the best!

That will be harder in Filter Enabled You need to learn about remote events to understand that. Place local script in the handle and paste that, make sure place the name of the thing you want to destroy in that Target -------------------------------- local Target = "" --Put The Name Of The Thing you want to click to destroy local tool = script.Parent.Parent local equip = false local mouse = game.Players.LocalPlayer:GetMouse() tool.Equipped:Connect(function() equip = true end) tool.unequipped:Connect(function() equip = false end) mouse.Button1Down:Connect(function() if equip == true then local target = mouse.Target if target == nil then return end if target.Name == Target then game.ReplicatedStorage.RemoteEvent:FireServer(target) end end end) ------------------------------- then put remote event in replicated storage last thing make script in server script service and paste that into the script ---------------------------------------------------------- game.ReplicatedStorage.RemoteEvent.OnServerEvent:Connect(function(plr, target) target:Destroy() end) --------------------------------------------

@@OBzx No you wouldnt the part would just need a clickdetector Clickdetectors require local input (in workspace) but works on serverside which therefore means it does not need remotes GUI buttons and anything thats replicated when the character is run, is when remotes are needed For the main person here all they would need is clickdetector.mouseclick:connect(function() part:destroy() end)
