It would be really nice if Barnworkers would take rot directly from compost bins to make fertilizer, rather than us having to move it to Resource Storage manually.

Wooden Vials not only give good production points, they sell for good coin. I switched from stone knives to wooden vials as my main production for coin. In the evening I make a bunch and run off to sell in villages. That got my production and diplomacy maxed out early in the game, now I have a market stall selling them and have more coin than I need now.

I wish they'd add preset options, for ATLEAST the Herbalist Hut. I have to chaNge the settings EVERY SEASON. If they gave us 4 presets then itd be so much simpler too.

For the herbalist hut, I started leaving all gatherables I want them to gather on at least 1% so I can just open it each season, dial all of the "wrong season" items down and the other stuff up and then close it and forget about it again. Lol

hard disagree on the xp sliders - I've done the grind, that doesn't mean I can't enjoy a clean playthrough that's a little easier. There's nothing wrong with getting that 40 hr game feeling instead of the 300 hr game feeling, it's just different

Hi, Great village you build there 😊. How do you get it to look natural? I can plan a bit, group related buildings together, leave space for not yet unlocked stuff, but in the end it seldom looks good because you can't anticipate sizes and terrain limitations. Another question. What is a good strategy to manage/breed villagers? Picking the ones you need 'now' is easy. But how do you ensure good continuity? Who do you mix, and when? Regards
@PitstopHead
Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I did very little planning and it just came together as it is. I did try and make it with winding alleys. I think with the breeding as long as you have good facilities and comfortable dwellings, it seems as if the children have good stats. I never really selected any particular residence. If you do the missions though and they lead to a character, they have higher stats. Good luck!

I am finding the late game quite boring. I enjoyed the creation of the village, getting through the grind of collecting stones, chopping trees and all the stuff. But at some point you stop worrying about money and start worrying about storages getting full of more than you will ever need. It is at that point that the game, in my opinion, has nothing to offer. Missions won't give you anything valuable. Selling things for what? More money? There is nothing to spend the money on. Reputation? I don't need more. Exploring the map? You have already explored it and there is nothing new to discover anyways. Bandits can maybe be fun, but combat is not that good anyways, and the rewards are just more money. More buildings? More villagers? I guess you can go crazy big if you want but the game won't give you anything. In fact managing things will become more tedious, since carrying capacity is limited and there are no controls like "sell above 200" or "never use if below 100", or crop rotation for example, so you will still have to be on top of everything. Late game should be way more interesting. Maybe adding some combat opportunities like escorting merchants or fighting for the king. This would open new ways to spend the money: create new objects like weapons, armors, maybe train soldiers, give them horses... Or maybe expanding the map, for those into exploration, creating new settlements, buying land in places that have new resources or new crops that the main settlement can't have. Maybe creating trading routes so you can do something with your production, your donkeys, build caravans... Or for those into survival maybe some special missions from the king: going solo somewhere new so potions like night vision, temperature, poison, etc. can be helpful. Don't know, I feel like the game had a solid start, but then turned into something where I just leave the game running while I alt tab and do something else. There is just nothing to do in the game, just wait until I unlock the tavern or the kid is old enought to take over... It had like 80 pretty good hours, maybe 100h. But then it was empty. Hopefully they will not abandon the game and maybe in a few years it will have some solid late game implemented.

@@PitstopHead it is a great game yeah, even if it "only" had 100 hours of gameplay, that's more than some triple A games out there. Seems they will add armors and multiplayer too this year, maybe next. Hopefully they won't stop there. And I also hope they don't milk it with DLCs for every new thing they add.

Why can’t I find anything online about production technology! There’s no definitive guides on how to upgrade it. I do like the cheese/quark, but idk how much xp it gives compared to other things. The fastest way I’ve found to upgrade my Npc production skill is linen thread/fabric/and the good bags. It’s great for leveling them up, but I don’t know the best way to actually get the tech
