"If we've been dead for long time, life feels like death." Wow. This statement is so powerful to me. It actually transforms my fear to a healthy innocent curiosity. It's magical. Thank you once again Adya. 💡💗

I had a fear about this, and it felt very strong, but the more recognition and realization that came to me about this was the reflection of a much more deepened fear. This fear was the fear of losing control, that's what I see the phobia of insanity is.

"There is nothing to fear but fear itself." I never realised until now just what a profound metaphor this statement is. Thank you Adya for shining a light upon another piece of the puzzle .

I really feel the truth of this talk. I see the crazy behavior of people around me who have often come down on me for not buying society's insanity so I feel like the insane one sometimes. Adya helps remind me that it's the other way around.

You may find passive stillness often is a great antidote to fear. People worry how to deal with this situation as an identity when they can just go still and wait for it too pass through- as in it is moving through with 'you'. The other often antidote is just taking things from the intelligence of pure awareness, not having to create a memory/thinking before/after routine and hang on as to how to deal with something when the answer will always be obviously directly in front of them no worries. Hope this helps to alleviate so many unnecessary worry. Namaste

Totally understand, that's fear's experience. It's terrible, judgmental, constricting, and last but not least, it's meant to be experienced. I'm not necessarily speaking from a higher place of wisdom on this, because I am still going through my "showcase", but at the end of the day, even if it doesn't appear so, it is not real. hmm yes good analogy here. Fear of perhaps already not having control. Where is our will? Heh, either way, fear is the only thing that makes me feel insane.

I am also very scared to become insane. It is exactly the same with me as with the questioner. I dont know what to do. I wish I could stop

I’m a mental health counselor. Here’s the deal. Insane people don’t know they’re insane. Crazy people know they’re crazy. And we’re all crazy to some degree or another.
