That is super that AED sent you a nice carb ! The 850 will have 1.56 venturi and the 950 will probably be 1.45 both with 1.750 throttle bore. With the annular boosters less main jet size is needed because the signal at the booster and the design make it much more efficient.

Over the decades the shift in quality carbs has bounced around so many times its hard to keep track of whats what anymore. Nice shout to these guys being the current "quality first" leader. Holley just keeps buying out these kinds of guys just to shut them down and make sure their crap keeps making it out first so it has to be modded and have more $$$ dumped in etc etc etc. So AED is the new quickfuel?

@stephenwest798
11 ай бұрын
Nice but I am confused, my book on Holley carbs says adjust your idle speed and idle mixture until both are correct as in speed and the highest vacuum reading then divide the vacuum reading in half and add one and that is the size in vacuum inch's that your power valve should be regardless of the type as in two port, four port, window or other type of power valve. If you have a bog in any carburetor then something is out of wack.
