That was challenging to film... thank you. You did quite well under the circumstances. And I had no idea these were so involved. I just figured it had a hole in the bottom and that was it :O\ What a wake up call. Cheers

I feel you on the eye sight. My arms have been getting longer and longer in order to compensate. That nozzle is completely different than my old kit. The only part mine shares in common with yours is the screen. Not the brass part. Just the screen that wraps around it. Edit: You will appreciate its affect on your IAT's.

Yeah, I keep seeing post on dsmtuners of people saying that these kits don't make much power. But it makes me wonder if it's their tune, or if they don't have a big enough nozzle, etc. I'm gonna try and push the limits of it for sure. Only thing I'm not sure of is a failsafe if the nozzle gets clogged, if there's a leak, etc. But it's basically ready to go aside from the solenoid.

@@V8sareslow1 You're moving at least 3 times the amount of air I am, but if you can spray enough to knock 30°F off it like I do, and like you said... tune around it... you *will* find the gains. I don't have any advice that can help you achieve 1,000hp, but I 1000% support your effort. What I did with my failsafe won't do anything for a clogged nozzle if the kit itself doesn't have means of detecting it. Mine has 8 error functions to monitor the pump, tank, etc... and my "fake" power circuit on the relay is total overkill, but it works spectacularly at putting me back at waste gate pressure when the bottle runs dry. If you have a mechanical float switch on the tank, change it out to a capacitive switch. The mechanical one on mine stuck once. Not the controller or failsafe's fault. I'm sure AEM has replaced every last part of the kit since I bought my unit.

@@Jafromobile apparently the replacement part is this one. Doubt it'll get stuck because I don't believe it's mechanical. Part Number 30-3320 V3 Water/Methanol Injection 5 Gallon Tank Kit with Conductive Fluid Level Sensor

How's the nozzle going, any leaks so far
@V8sareslow1

If there's been any leaks, it would be inside the pipe. But if that's the case, the solenoid is shutting off any fluid from getting inside of it. Nothing leaking outside of the pipe to date. I'll have to post a long term review when it's been awhile. Too early to tell at the moment. Last weekend I met a guy at the track with the same kit but he wasn't using a solenoid on his (hopefully he will). His is installed in a 370Z. I'll have to see if I can get in touch with him and get some video footage of his car as well. I had some transmission issues where I burned up the 1 and 2 gear clutches so my track day didn't go so well. New parts arriving Tuesday so hopefully back at it here asap.

@@V8sareslow1 i keep on reading about the leaks from the hose to the nozzle, also is it really a must to install a solenoid?

@@alitoroganan2442 so far I've pushed it to 40 psi with no leaks to the outside of the hose. I'll be cranking it up more here very soon which is beyond what the controller is even rated for. So we'll see how it holds up next time out. As for the solenoid, in all honesty, it's stupid not to use it. There have been people who have ruined engines because of the nozzle leaks fluid inside the pipes when the car is off, they then hydrolock the engine when they fire it up. The solenoid is very cheap insurance to prevent this from happening. By not installing it you're just playing Russian roulette. Maybe you'll be okay without it, but my engine won't be taking that chance.

@@alitoroganan2442 correct, except that if you have an AEM controller, the wiring connects to that. The wiring was very simple. And that's coming from someone who hates doing wiring. One last thing I thought about is that at 40 psi I was pushing a little fluid in the vacuum line from where the nozzles turned on and the air pushed that fluid up the vacuum line, up to the controller. It was leaking a few drops out off the line at the controller. A simple zip tie fixed that issue and probably cured a boost leak as well. My suggestion? Add zip tie at the controller as well as installing the vacuum line pre-nozzles if you can.
