It is difficult to see, but I hope there are at least three bolt threads showing past the nut. That was the acceptable standard when I was a crew chief on the C-141b some decades ago.

I agree 100% with your brother . There's a ton of things that they can improve on that I can't believe they're actually doing some things that are so messed up. read some of my posts I wrote.... I fly the 103 on several occasions, and possibly buying one, but some things in the operation, I'd rather make some engineering changes before I buy....

@@caseykelso1 I'm not an engineer, neither have I played one on TV. This may be naive, but I think the corporate lawyers worked alongside the engineers to make sure every rivet, attachment, nut and bold, cable, tube, and fitting meets or exceeds minimum safety standard. When someone's life depends upon everything working, Aerolite would make sure everything is 100% to avoid nasty liability lawsuits. Would I buy and fly an Aerolite 103? Yes, if I could afford one, and have it finished in a PT 19 color scheme. So much less to go wrong with a 103 than in a conventional aircraft such as a Cessna 172, which I have flown.

I was wondering how the dihedral was set? Did I miss it somehow?

The still picture at 11:27 , why wouldn't you use the last two holes near the bend to keep the forces of torque down to a minimal on that whole little system? lose the two rivets in the middle and move to the other holes at bend, you know that spot where all the torque on the systemis going to be......would cut down on torque and stresses, Is there any actual engineer's that works in your company? I see things that look so wrong in these designs.

I am baffled as to why RIVETS are holding the main gussets, and bolts are used for the attachments!!!!! Why are the gussets not BOLTED???!!!!!........ In other words, the brackets are riveted to the frame, and the attaching pieces are bolted to that???? I’m clueless
