And my favorite song, “You See Me Crying”, is Steven’s daughter’s, Liv’s, favorite song. When I met the band backstage in Vegas in 2003 Steven and I talked about it and I told him they should do it live with an orchestra. Not too long after that they added it to their set. I.m not saying I was the reason but it’s cool to think so 😊

For those who do not know and MIGHT care, the line "the rabbit done died." Back when this song was made there were no home pregnancy kits. The test for pregnancy was to inject a rabbit with fluid from the woman. If the woman was pregnant this injection would actually kill the rabbit.

The greatest percussion instrument ever used is on the title track of Warren Zevon's "Bad Luck Streak in Dancin' School". As the string section transitions into the electric guitar intro, there are two distinctive, rhythmic "whacks" that are supposed to mimic the sound of a choreographer's hand claps. The sounds were made by Dr. Hunter S. Thompson firing a .38 into a trash can full of rocks. Pure genius.

This song is one of very few ever to hit the Billboard hot 100 charts in separate decades....20 years apart. I first heard this from my older sister's record collection. I was 9 years old back in '76. I remember it in Waynes World too. Tom Hamilton bass player extraordinaire. Joe Perry on the talk box .....Steven Tyler with the sound effects (that dude always has some) you get Brad Whitford throwing down the harmony and of course Joey Kramer with a killer drum line intro going absolutely badass into the bridge.
