Before 2012 Ubisoft used to have the knack for telling a story with the politics of a certain nation serving as the backdrop, but now they have lost the cajones when the "best" of Far Cry were 2 and Blood Dragon or AssAssIn's Cheek were 2 and 4. Nowadays, they'd only cherry pick what "The Message" wants to avoid scrutiny from certain ethnicity groups or completely disregard things like modern history and such. Art is now just a tool to control, not freedom expression like it once was. You know what's the most bizarre change for the Chinese version of Far Cry 2? The Chinese guy's nationality was changed to Vietnamese despite his name being the same. Don't ever forget who holds Ubisoft's leash and you would never see them touch a China setting aside from ancient history in Chronicles or Pagan Min being from Hong Kong and not "mainland".

The fact that this game is over looked by hundreds of Far Cry fans is sad, and here you are shining the light this game deserves.

Just finished watching all three of your video essays on the Far Cry series. Really fantastic content, very thoughtful. If I had one criticism it would be that you could slow the pace down a bit, have a bit more of a pause between each point in order to give us more time to absorb/process what you're saying and to help draw a clear line between one topic and the next.

Thanks! Yeah, it has been brought up already, I'll have add some space between chapters. Cheers!
