A Turkish construction firm conducts a feasibility study at the proposed land for Hoima stadium.

The state minister for sports Peter Ogwang has asked water, works and energy ministries to expedite the process of extending services to the proposed Hoima stadium that will host the African cup of nations in 2027.
Ogwang has said this while showing land to Summa, the Turkish construction company that is going to undertake the construction of the multibillion state of art stadium.
In the company of the FUFA President, the chairperson of National sports Council and other leaders, the state minister for sports Peter Ogwang together with the construction company project manager Murat Altun, have conducted a feasibility study ahead of signing a contract on 8th April this year 2024.
On Tuesday September 19 last year 2023, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Okayed the partnership between Summa, the Turkish construction company and the government of Uganda to construct Hoima stadium that will host African cup of nations in 2027.
