I am documenting my AFF journey hoping that you can also see how achievable sky diving is. If you have any questions, I am happy to answer them to the best of my abilities in the comment section below. Sit back and enjoy the view.
Today's episode is Level 1. As you can see, I exited the aircraft with 2 instructors to guide and correct me. During this jump, I made two notable mistakes, one is my right leg was not properly positioned when I exited the aircraft, I corrected this during the course of the jump though. The second is I did not pull when one of my instructors showed me the pull sign(Pointing finger).
During the debrief, I learned that I pulled my parachute at 1700m instead of the 1800m that we were taught during ground school. Never the less, this jump was successful, my parachute deployed without any malfunctions and I successfully landed it in the right place without sustaining any injuries. Kudos Go-jump team.
I had lots of fun and will not leave without mentioning that I was handled by an amazing team, I 10/10 recommend this. Today's lessons will be carried over to Level 2. I hope you learned a thing or two as well.
